The first few weeks of school have zoomed right by! Homecoming Week has been exciting!  Congratulations to our Homecoming Court! My thanks to Mrs. Roth-Buschur, our student council members, as well as faculty and students at all buildings for making this week a wonderful time!
A few highlights so far this year. Enrollment is holding level compared with last year at roughly 500 students. Hill City School District has met the requirements as a "progressing" school district under the state School Performance Index. Look for your child's state assessment data to be mailed directly to you. Attendance plays one of the most important roles in the academic success of children.  We value and encourage daily attendance, but we realize some absences are unavoidable due to illness.

We look forward to a strong partnership with you this year! Thank you for helping us make Hill City School District a great place to learn and grow!

It was wonderful to see everyone on our first day of school! Let's keep that excitement going by working together throughout the year to encourage student success!
Although there are two scheduled Parent Teacher Conference dates on the calendar, we encourage parents and guardians to schedule  visits in person with your child's teacher(s) throughout the school year. We can stay in touch electronically too!  Our school district website includes a SUBSCRIBE tab on classroom websites where parents, guardians, and students can register to receive classroom updates. The Infinite Campus website portal and app (available via Google Play Store)  are also great tech tools for quick access to your child's grades, attendance, and lunch balance.
We look forward to bringing you up to date student information via electronic means and value the opportunity to "connect" in person too!  See you at school!
