Hill City School District - Home of the Rangers! A great place to learn and grow!  We are proud to be located within the Black Hills National Forest and 12 miles from Mt. Rushmore National Memorial! Each year our graduating seniors walk across the stage of the park amphitheater with Mt. Rushmore serving as a magnificent and positive background reminding everyone in attendance of our nation’s strength and our commitment toward a democratic society for all.  A powerful educational experience provides the foundation for the continued success of our nation, and Hill City School District is honored to share this responsibility with parents, guardians, and community stakeholders as we prepare our children to be future leaders!
