HILL CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT 51-2 

OF PENNINGTON COUNTY

On October 18, a special meeting of the Hill City Board of Education was held at 5:00 p.m. in the high school building room #202. The following members were present: President Owen Wiederhold, Angie Ross, Dennis Krull, and Mike Welu.  Members absent: Greg Schroeder.  Also present: Dr. Charles M. (Mike) Hanson II, Ed.D

All motions in these minutes carried by unanimous vote unless otherwise recorded. 

APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Motion by Krull, second by Welu, to approve the October 18, 2016, special agenda.  

NEW BUSINESS: Motion by Welu and Second by Ross to approve Upper Deck Architect’s recommendation for the elementary roof replacement bid from Lowe Roofing Inc. for $244,925.

EXECUTIVE SESSION: President Wiederhold called the board into executive session for the purpose of personnel inviting Dr. Hanson at 5:04 p.m. President Wiederhold declared the board out of executive session at 5:24 p.m.

The next regular board meeting is scheduled for November 14, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. 

ADJOURN MEETING: Motion by Krull, second by Welu, to adjourn the meeting at 5:24 p.m.
